How was the terrorist arrested?
The terrorist involved in the conspiracy to plant a pipe bomb has been identified as Abubakar Siddiqui, targeting LK Advani. The police on Tuesday informed about the arrest of the terrorist. According to the police, Abubakar Siddiqui has been arrested by the Anti -Terrorism Squad in Tamil Nadu from his hideout in Annamayya district of Andhra Pradesh. He was arrested on the basis of a secret information and with the help of central intelligence agencies, along with Abubakar, another fugitive Mohammad Ali alias Yunus alias Mansoor has also been arrested.
How much was the reward on the terrorist?
According to police, 60 -year -old terrorist Abubakar Siddiqui was involved in several bomb blasts in South India. The police had been looking for a terrorist for the last 3 decades, or about 30 years. The police had also announced a reward of five lakh rupees on the terrorist Abubakar on behalf of the police. Police said- “He was involved in many bomb blasts and communal killings and had been avoiding the police’s grip for three decades.”

According to the information, terrorist Abubakar included a bomb blast in 1995 at the office of Hindu Munnani in Chintadrapat, the parcel bomb blast targeted by Hindu right -wing activist T Muthukrishnan in 1995, Chennai Police Commissioner Office in Egmore and six other places including Tiruchirappalli, Coimbatore and Kerala. The terrorist was involved in an attempt to put a pipe bomb to target LK Advani during the Rath Yatra of LK Advani in Madurai, Tamil Nadu in 2011. (input language)
