Potatoes – 4 medium sized
Green chilli – 2-3
Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
Garlic paste – 1 tsp
Ginger paste – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt – as per taste
Oil – for frying

Method

To make potato tikkis, first wash and boil the potatoes, then peel them. After peeling the potatoes thoroughly, grate them. Mash the grated potatoes well once.

After this, add grated potatoes, green chillies, green coriander, garlic paste, ginger paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and salt in a big bowl. After putting everything together, mix it well. The spices should mix well in the potatoes.

After this, make potato tikkis from this mixture and fry them in light oil. After it becomes golden from both the sides, take it out in a plate. Remove excess oil with the help of napkin. Serve Aloo Tikki with hot ketchup and coriander chutney.
