Customers benefit from Airtel and Google’s partnership, free will get this facility
Telecom service provider Airtel has partnered with Google to meet the user’s growing data storage needs. Under this, all postpaid and home Wi-Fi customers of Airtel will get 100 gigabytes (GB) Google One Cloud Storage for free for six months. Airtel issued a statement on Tuesday stating that under this new offer, its customers will be able to avail Google One Cloud Storage for six months without any additional fee.

Through this, they will not only be able to store their data safely but will also be able to share this storage with five others. Available on both Android and iOS platforms, this service will be useful for services such as WhatsApp chat backup, Google Drive, Gmail and Google Photos, which will make the data safe even when changing the device.
Airtel’s Marketing Director (Connected Homes) Siddharth Sharma said, “In today’s era, storage has become an important need for smartphone users. This partnership with Google is a big step towards providing a reliable and safe solution to customers.
Platform and Device Partnership Vice President in Google’s Asia-Pacific region, Karen Tio said that with this collaboration, millions of customers in India will get Google One facilities and they will be able to get easy and safe backup of their essential data. Customers can activate the offer by logging on to the Airtel Thanks app only to take advantage of this facility. After 6 months of free service, if a customer wants to continue it, the service can be carried forward at a slight fee of Rs 125 per month.
