Damaged roads should be repaired soon: CM Dhami

Dehradun. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given instructions to repair the roads damaged during the works of Jal Jeevan Mission as soon as possible. CM Dhami made it clear that action will be taken against the negligent officers.

On Saturday, CM Dhami reviewed the works of Public Works Department, Energy and Drinking Water Department at FTI Auditorium located in Haldwani. During this, the Chief Minister directed the officials to speed up the repair of roads damaged during the works of Jal Jeevan Mission and to fill the potholes immediately. The Chief Minister said that any kind of negligence will not be tolerated in this work.

Action will be taken against those who are negligent

CM (CM Dhami) made it clear that strict action will be taken against the negligent officers. CM said that there are schemes related to public interest like Jal Jeevan Mission and PM Surya Ghar-Free Electricity Scheme. For 100 percent implementation of government schemes, the CM has instructed the officials to go to the ground and conduct on-site inspection and complete the schemes as per the standards on time.

Instructions given to speed up construction of parafit and crash barrier

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that officials should ensure that the schemes which have been approved at the government level, should be worked on expeditiously. Along with this, CM Dhami directed the officials to make proper lighting arrangements on the roads for the convenience of vehicles and the general public and also to speed up the construction of parafit and crash barriers to prevent road accidents.
