• Due to World AIDS Day on 1st December, there will be a holiday for banks across the country. Whereas, banks will remain closed in Panaji due to Center Francis Xavier festival on 3rd December.
• 8th December is the first Saturday of the month, due to which there will be a holiday in all the banks of the country and on 10th December, due to Human Rights Day, banks across the country will remain closed. At the same time, banks will also remain closed due to UNICEF’s birthday on 11th.

14, 15, 18 and 19 December

• 14th December is the second Saturday of the month, hence there will be a holiday for all the banks of the country.
• 15th December is a Sunday due to which all the banks of the country will remain closed whereas, due to Guru Ghasidas Jayanti on 18th December, there will be a holiday for the banks located in Chandigarh. At the same time, due to Goa Liberation Day on 19th December, banks will remain closed in Panaji.

22, 24, 25 and 26 December

• There will be a Sunday holiday on 22nd December, whereas, 24th December is the martyrdom day of Guru Teg Bahadur, due to which all the banks of Meghalaya, Mizoram, Punjab and Chandigarh will remain closed.
• There will be Christmas holiday for all banks on 25th December and there will be Boxing Day and Kwanzaa on 26th December due to which banks will remain closed.

From 28th to 31st December

• Due to 28th December being the fourth Saturday of the month and 29th December being a Sunday, there will be a holiday for banks across the country.
• Banks in Sikkim will remain closed on December 30 due to Tamu Losar, while banks in Mizoram will remain closed on December 31 on New Year’s Eve.
