India And amid tension between Pakistan, Delhi Airport has issued a travel advisory for passengers on Sunday. Let me tell you that Pakistan had demanded a ceasefire after 4 days of deadly clashes and started sending firing and drones again a few hours after the ceasefire. Meanwhile, the Delhi Airport has advised passengers to follow the official updates. Delhi Airport said that due to tension between India and Pakistan, there may be a change in flight schedule. Also, security checkpoints may take a long time. In a statement, the Delhi Airport said, “The operations continue smoothly, but the changing aerspace dynamics and high security protocols imposed by the Civil Avoids Security Bureau may change the flight schedule and take longer on security checkpoints.”

Reach the airport ahead of time

Delhi Airport said, “Passengers are advised to keep getting updates through their respective airline. Follow the guidelines prescribed for cabins and check-in baggage. Reach the airport ahead of time. Also cooperate with the airline and security personnel. Also keep checking the flight status through the airline or Delhi Airport website. Be dependent and avoid rumors and unconfirmed information.

32 airports are closed

Meanwhile, the Airports Authority of India and the concerned aviation officials have said that a total of 32 airports in North and Western India have been temporarily closed for all civil flight operations. The ban is effective from 9 May 2025 to 14 May 2025 due to notice to Airmen. Among these 32 airports, Adampur, Ambala, Amritsar, Avantipur, Bathinda, Bhuj, Bikaner, Chandigarh, Halwara, Hindon, Jaisalmer, Jammu, Jamnagar, Jodhpur, Kandla, Kangra (Gaggal), Keshod, Kishangarh, Kullu Manali (Bhuntar), Leh, Ludhiana, Mundra, Nodhiya, Nodhiya, Nodh Porbandar, Rajkot (Hirasar), Sarsawa, Shimla, Srinagar, Thois and Uttaralai Airports are included.
