In earlier times or when Vaastu Shastra was written, there was no TV but it was definitely believed that things related to fire should have their own place. A TV is an electronic device that is considered a fire hazardous device. The direction of electronics equipment was also appointed. It is considered to be the factor of Saturn and Venus. Its direction is said to be southeast.
Where to keep TV in the house:
According to Vastu Shastra, TV or rather smart television should be kept in the south-east i.e. southeast corner of the house. If you can’t keep it here then it should be kept in the east direction.
In which direction should the TV face:
While watching TV, take special care that your face should be towards the east. If there is no place to keep the TV in the southeast corner or in the east, then keep the TV in such a way that it faces south and you face north.
Where should TV not be kept:
It is believed that not keeping the TV in the proper direction spreads negative energy in the house. It may also cause mental stress or financial loss. TV should never be kept in the bedroom. Failure to do so may lead to discord in the house. If it is to be kept in the bedroom, then the bedroom should be big and then it should be kept in the south-east i.e. southeast corner.
It has been seen in many houses that as soon as you enter the house, there is a TV installed in front. According to Vastu, a TV placed in this way spreads negative energy in the house. Therefore it is not considered auspicious. Vastu for TV in living room or hall is that the TV should be placed in the south-east corner of the living room. Avoid placing the TV in the north-east or south-west direction in the living room.
