Employment related incentive scheme: Case related to more than 3.5 crore jobs

New Delhi: Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav gave detailed information about the incentive scheme related to employment approved by the Union Cabinet. He said, “The creation of more than 3.5 crore jobs will help. The focus of employment -related incentive scheme will be on the manufacturing sector. The first part is for the first time for those who work and the second part is to support the continuous employment.”
Vaishnav said on Tuesday that the Union Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday approved employment generation, encouraged employment (ELI) scheme to promote employment generation, encourage employees working for the first time and strengthen social security for the workforce in the country. Vaishnav said that with a outlay of Rs 99,446 crore, the ELI scheme would support the creation of more than 3.5 crore jobs.
Under this scheme, employees working for the first time will get a month’s salary (up to Rs 15,000), employers will be encouraged for a period of two years to generate additional employment, as well as extended benefits for two years for manufacturing sector. The ELI scheme was announced in the Union Budget 2024-25 as part of the package of five schemes of the PM to facilitate employment, skills and other opportunities for the convenience of employment, skills and other opportunities with a total budget outlay of Rs 2 lakh crore.
With a outlay of Rs 99,446 crore, the ELI scheme aims to encourage the creation of more than 3.5 crore jobs in the country over a period of 2 years. Of these, 1.92 crore beneficiaries will be going to enter the workforce for the first time. The benefit of this scheme will be applicable to jobs created between 01 August 2025 to July 31, 2027.
Information about research development and innovation scheme is also given
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav gave information about the Research Development and Innovation Scheme approved by the Union Cabinet. He said, “Research National Research Foundation (ANRF) was approved by the Prime Minister some time ago. ANRF studied and consulted various countries like Israel, America, Singapore, Germany, which is a good map from research to product. The program is built on the basis of the same roadmap, learning and counseling.”
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, “The National Highway from Parakudi to Ramanathapuram is 46.7 km long. It is already four lanes from Madurai to Parmakudi. With today’s approval, four lanes are proposed from Parmakudi to Ramnathpur. After that, part of the sea is being prepared under DPR. DPR is being prepared. DPR is being prepared. People had a long pending demand. “
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav gave information about the Khelo Bharat Policy 2025 approved by the Union Cabinet. This policy will replace the National Sports Policy 2021. It will be combined with the National Education Policy 2020. He said, “It is a new path to the country. In these 11 years, the Prime Minister has focused a different focus on sports and has tried to bring talent forward in a systematic manner especially in rural areas. This new policy has been made keeping this in mind.”
