How dangerous is the new variant of Covid?
Talking about Corona virus JN.1 infection, WHO has expressed hope that this virus will not be very dangerous but this virus is spreading rapidly so the cases may increase. People taking the corona vaccine do not need to be afraid of this virus.
Characteristics of the new variant-
Talking about the symptoms of the new variant of Corona, JN.1, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention has said that this infection has not been detected yet. The CDC said that, whether the symptoms of the JN.1 variant are different from other variants and sub-variants or are the same as the old ones, there is currently no indication that this infection is serious. Apart from this, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention also said that what and how many symptoms a person shows depends on the immunity and overall health of that person.
How many people have died so far-
The new variant of Corona, JN.1, is spreading very fast. Let us tell you that this virus first started from Kerala but now it has spread to Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Goa, Puducherry, Gujarat, Telangana, Punjab, Delhi and Rajasthan. A total of 2,669 people have been infected with this infection so far, out of which 358 cases were reported in the last day. Six people have also died due to this variant.
