Anshula Kapoor
Anshula Kapoor is a well-known Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor and his first wife Mona Kapoor’s daughter and Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor’s younger sister. Anshula is in the news these days for Karan Johar’s show ‘The Treater’, through which she is winning the hearts of the audience. Through this show, the audience got to see Anshula’s real personality for the first time. Boney Kapoor divorced Mona Shourie for Sridevi
Anshula recalled her childhood days during a conversation with Nayandeep Rakshit and told how she had to go through emotional moments in school when her father Boney Kapoor’s relationship with Sridevi was public. Boney Kapoor first married Mona Shourie, from whom he had two children Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor. However, despite being married and father of two children, he fell in love with Sridevi, for whom he left Anshula’s mother Mona Shourie.
Parents’ divorce gave pain
Anshula said- ‘On returning to school, obviously things changed. My parents separated in the 1990s. At that time, divorce or separation used to be a very big thing for the people. The divorce was then unheard, and was very unusual. In a city like Mumbai, the separation was not normal. When our parents were separated, it took some time to understand that there is nothing naturally wrong in someone’s character. It became very difficult to enter the minds of people.
Classmates changed behavior after father’s second marriage
Anshula told that things changed very quickly for him and it was full of pain for him. Especially the behavior of his classmates and their families towards him. He said- ‘I was in first standard and what started happening was that there were families who did not want to join the events happening in our lives. They did not want their children to come to our house and be a part of any kind of quarrel. In the 90s, you used to go to a child’s house after school, right? I remember that the way my classmates were behaving towards me, and the way their families were behaving towards me, there was a big change. Staying in school was a very emotional and very tangled time.
Confuse used to absent father
Anshula also talked about her father’s absence in childhood and told how she was a confused about this thing. He said- ‘Most of all, I used to confuse about why my father would never be in the house. After all this it was very difficult for me to deal with things. But, I had a mother, Arjun was Bhaiya and Kasansa. Now, we are very open -minded. ‘
