Fetus found outside Vice Chancellor’s office; dogs scratched
The body of a newborn baby (developed fetus) was found in a mutilated condition on Sunday outside the Vice Chancellor’s office of the University of Health Sciences in Rohtak, Haryana. Dogs have scratched its lower part. Passersby informed the police about the fetus. The police have taken possession of the fetus and started investigation.
At around 9 am on Sunday morning, dogs were tearing at a piece of meat outside the Vice Chancellor’s office. Seeing this, passersby passing by the road tried to drive away the dogs, but they did not run away. Passersby informed the PGI police station about this matter. After this, PGI police station in-charge Ratan Lal reached the spot with his team and took possession of the body of the newborn baby (fully developed fetus) and sent it to PGI for post-mortem.
PGI police station in-charge Ratan Lal said that information about the fetus was received. Due to this the team reached the spot and started action. Only after post-mortem will it be possible to confirm whether the fetus is a girl or a boy. Only after this the investigation will be able to proceed further.
