Lucknow. General Manager, Northern Railway, Baroda House, New Delhi, Ashok Kumar Verma arrived in Lucknow as part of his two-day inspection to get information about various development works and projects being carried out at various stations and railway sites of Northern Railway Lucknow Division. The General Manager, along with Divisional Railway Manager SM Sharma and other officials of the Division, inspected Charbagh Railway Station of Lucknow and other offices and railway sites located in Lucknow region.
Senior DCM Kuldeep Tiwari said that the General Manager at Charbagh Railway Station observed the 2.0 model of the station and got information about the railway works to be done in this regard. He inspected passenger facilities, dormitories, waiting hall, cafeteria etc. The General Manager arrived at the Carriage and Wagon Workshop and after reaching there, he inspected the C&M Lab, Trimming Shop, Paint Shop, Salon Shop, Electronics Shop and other workplaces and saw the working there.
He obtained information about the arrangements made in the workshop and the precautions taken to deal with any kind of emergency and checked the validity of the dates of the fire fighting equipment installed there. On this occasion, the General Manager participated in the seminar to be organized in the workshop, observed the power presentation and also planted trees in the workshop. Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Neelima Singh, branch heads of all departments, other officers and employees were present in the inspection program.
