quota. On her first visit to Kota, West Central Railway General Manager, Smt. Shobhana Bandopadhyay was welcomed by the West Central Railway Employees Union (WCREU) today and informed about the various problems of the railway employees and their families.

Union co. Divisional Secretary Naresh Malav said that the union delegation under the leadership of Union General Secretary Comrade Mukesh Galav met the General Manager and submitted a 19-point memorandum, in which various problems of the railway employees were pointed out.

While discussing the memorandum in detail with the General Manager, the union informed that the employees of Kota division are not being paid overtime, night duty, TA and other allowances for the last five months, due to which there is anger among the employees and the headquarters has taken action against them. This problem is arising due to insufficient funds being released, on which the General Manager assured the union to get this payment done soon. Along with this, providing compassionate appointment to the dependents of decategorized employees on medical grounds, speedy disposal of transfer cases on spouse basis, improving cleanliness system at road side stations of all three divisions, providing equipment related to orthopedic treatment in Divisional Railway Hospital, Kota, GDCE Immediate completion of the selection process, payment of minimum guaranteed km to the running staff of Kota division, mental harassment by SSE/Pway/North/Gangapur City to its subordinate employees, payment of dress allowance to all the employees of the electricity department of Kota division, Filling of posts in TRD department, various problems of supervisor and artisan staff working on track machines in Kota division, problems of running staff working in Kota Sagar section, floating of track maintainer posts in engineering department, compliance of employee charter, problems of all the three divisions. Demands like opening of option in HRMS for improving the grading of APARs of employees, opening of holiday home in Dakaniya Talao, problems of women railway employees etc. were put forward by the union, on which the General Manager has assured to take immediate cognizance and resolve them. Zonal Treasurer Irshad Khan, Zonal Vice President Naveen Tiwari, Assistant Divisional Secretary Naresh Malav, Gyan Dixit, Jyoti Sharma and other officials were present in the union delegation. On this occasion, Divisional Railway Manager Kota Manish Tiwari, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Manoj Jain, Senior DPO Suprakash and other branch officers of Kota division were present.
