A fire broke out in a grocery store located in the old grain market of Gohana, causing a loss of lakhs of rupees. Warehouse owner Manish Goyal said that he closed his shop and warehouse around 9:00 pm and went home. Around 4:00 in the morning, a call was received from the neighbors living near the warehouse that their warehouse was on fire, after which when they reached the spot, they saw that the entire warehouse was on fire. Smoke was rising, after which they informed the fire brigade. The fire brigade vehicle reached the spot and controlled the fire after a lot of effort.
The fire brigade employee who reached the spot said that information was received through Dial 112 that there was a fire in a warehouse in the old grain market, after reaching the spot, the fire was controlled after a lot of effort, but by then all the goods kept in the warehouse were burnt to ashes.
