In a Facebook post, the gangster Goldy Brar said that the blast was carried out after the club owner refused to adhere to the extortion call.

Goldy Brar, a Canada-based Gangster and alleged aide of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, has claimed responsibility for the blast outside Chandigarh club. In a Facebook post, the gangster Goldy Brar said that the blast was carried out after the club owner refused to adhere to the extortion call.

The social media post allegedly by Goldy Brar stated that they targeted two restaurants and clubs including De Orra restaurant and Sevillee Bar and Lounge owned by the singer-rapper Badshah.

Goldy Brar in his Facebook post allegedly reads, “Hello, Sat Shri Akal to everyone. Regarding the two blasts which took place Monday night, the responsibility for them is claimed by Goldy Brar and Rohit Gondara (Lawrence Bishnoi Group). Seville Restaurant, whose owner is Rapper Badshah, and De Orra Club, Sector 26 in Chandigarh.

Warning to club owners by Goldy Brar

The owners of these places did not respond to our calls for protection money. Since they were ignoring us, we executed the blasts to make them understand. To those who continue ignoring our calls even now, take this as a serious warning. Things could escalate further and become much worse for you.”

Goldy Brar’s involvement in Sidhu Moosewala murder

Satwinder Singh alias Goldy Brar, a native of Muktsar in Punjab, was also allegedly involved in the murder of Punjabi rapper Sidhu Moosewala. Goldy Brar has been designated as a terrorist by the Indian Government earlier this year.

Brar is the son of Shamsher Singh, who was a former Assistant Sub-Inspector in Punjab police. Goldy Brar moved to Canada on a student visa in 2017. Till that time, he did not have any criminal record. Some time later, he joined hands with Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently jailed in India. He then indulged in extortion and contract killings in India.
