The 26-year-old accused, who has now been arrested, continued to search on internet on “How to stop bleeding during sexual encounter’ instead of taking the nursing student to the doctor after sexual intercourse.

As per the autopsy report of the victim, she died due to serious injuries in private parts as well as blood loss which caused the haemorrhage.

New Delhi: In a tragic incident, a nursing student died after her 26-year-old boyfriend continued to search internet on ways to stop bleeding after a sexual intercourse. The incident took place at a hotel in Navsari district of Gujarat on September 23.

According to officials probing the case, the accused, who has now been arrested, continued to search on internet on “How to stop bleeding during sexual encounter’ instead of taking the victim to the doctor.

Destruction of evidence by accused

The accused again tried to indulge in sexual intercourse with the victim despite she bleeding. The youth has been booked by the police for destruction of evidence and culpable homicide not amounting to murder, said a report in Times of India.

“The forensic report concluded that the victim died due to excessive bleeding. The accused transferred the girl in a private vehicle instead of calling for medical help or dial 108. The girl could have survived had she got the medical attention on time, the report said quoting Navsari SP Sushil Agrawal.

Girl died due to blood loss: Autopsy

As per the autopsy report of the victim, she died due to serious injuries in private parts as well as blood loss which caused the hemorrhage. The girl was a first year nursing student in the district. The girl got in touch with the accused three years back, but were not in contact for 7 years. However, the duo met recently through social media.

“The duo were in a relationship for seven months. They checked into a hotel on September 23 to spend some private moments. The accused tried to have sex with the girl after coming to know that the girl was bleeding. The accused spent 60-90 minutes in the hotel despite the girl’s condition worsened. The girl succumbed to her injuries at the hospital in the afternoon on the same day. Later to avoid the trouble, the accused cleaned up the bloodstains to destroy evidence,” said policeman.
