Haryana: Government ordered former CM to vacate the house
Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda has received orders to vacate his official residence. The state government has sent a notice to Hooda to vacate the house. Hooda has been allotted government house number 70 in Sector 7, Chandigarh. After receiving the notice, Hooda has asked for 15 days’ time from the government. The process to vacate the mansion has also been started by the government. Actually, due to non-selection of Leader of Opposition, Hooda will have to vacate the house.
Cabinet Minister Vipul Goyal has applied for house number 70. Even in Manohar Part 1 government, this house was allotted to Vipul Goyal only. The leader of the opposition gets the status and facilities of cabinet rank. Cabinet Minister in Haryana Government, Vipul Goyal, in response to former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda vacating the house number 70, said that it is a government house and it has to be vacated as per the government, when the government wishes, it can get the house vacated even if Then whoever is living in it.
Transport Minister Vij’s statement has also come to light in the matter of vacating the government residence from Hooda. He said, “It is a rule that the leader of the opposition is given a government house, but when he is not on this post, he has to vacate the house, there is no politics or feeling of enmity in this, whatever is happening.” That is as per the rules.”
