New Delhi: A horrifying incident has rocked Nuh district in Haryana, leaving a community in shock and grief. A three-and-a-half-year-old girl was allegedly abducted, brutally raped, and murdered.

The alleged perpetrator, a young man from the same village, has been apprehended by police.

The tragedy unfolded on Saturday when the girl, who was playing near her home, was taken away by the accused around 4 pm. When she failed to return home, her family started a desperate search. Their worst fears were confirmed around 11 pm when they discovered the child’s blood-soaked body.

According to the police complaint filed by the victim’s family, the accused allegedly raped the young girl before inflicting further violence, breaking her limbs, and leaving her body in a desolate location. The brutality of the crime has sent ripples of outrage and fear through the community.

Pinangwa police swiftly responded to the incident. Upon arriving at the scene, they collected evidence and sent the girl’s body for a post-mortem examination. The preliminary findings from the post-mortem, confirmed by Inspector Subhash Chand, the Pinangwa SHO, corroborate the family’s claims of rape and murder.

The arrest of the accused followed a swift and focused investigation. Four police teams were immediately deployed to locate and apprehend the suspect. Their efforts bore fruit near Marora village, where the accused was taken into custody. The SHO confirmed the arrest but indicated the investigation is ongoing and the accused is being questioned to gather further information. “We are questioning him,” Chand said.
