It’s nice to see Bumrah bowling with the new ball

Wasim Akram was one of the best bowlers of his time. After India’s victory, he praised Bumrah and said,

“Bumrah is the best bowler in the world at the moment. He is on top. He has amazing control, pace and variation, he is a complete bowler. It’s nice to watch him bowl. “With the new ball, getting that kind of movement on this wicket…with pace, great follow through…he is a complete bowler.”

Wasim even said that the control that Bumrah has with the new ball is better than mine. He also told why Bumrah is such a dangerous bowler? According to him

“Bumrah bowls round the wicket to left-handed batsmen and tries to hit the ball on the seam. When he bowls from outside the crease, the batsman feels that the ball will come inside and the batsman plays the shot accordingly. But after hitting the pitch the ball moves outwards instead of inwards. Due to which batsmen get beaten or lose their wickets.”

Tips to avoid Bumrah

Former Pakistan bowler Wasim Akram has given an interesting advice to avoid Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah. He told that there is only one way to bring Bumrah under pressure. Steal Bumrah’s spikes and there is no other solution. Akram advised Pakistani bowlers to learn from Bumrah. He told that Pakistani bowlers should learn something from Bumrah and play as much Test cricket as possible. Bumrah has taken 14 wickets so far in this World Cup.
