Hemant Soren became the Chief Minister of Jharkhand for the fourth time, the strength of INDIA block was seen on the stage.

Ranchi. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Hemant Soren took oath as the 14th Chief Minister of Jharkhand in Ranchi today. Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar administered the oath of office and secrecy to Soren. This is Soren’s fourth term as Chief Minister of the state. Soren took blessings from his father and party founder Shibu Soren before his next innings as Chief Minister of Jharkhand.

Before taking oath, Hemant Soren said that today is a historic day, our unity is our biggest weapon. We can neither be divided nor pacified. We are Jharkhandi, Jharkhandi do not bow down. Hemant Soren took oath as CM at Morhabadi ground. At 3 pm, Hemant Soren took his father Shibu Soren to the venue of the function holding his hand.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, Congress leader Tariq Anwar, SP chief Akhilesh were present at the oath ceremony of Jharkhand Chief Minister. Yadav, independent MP Pappu Yadav and many top opposition leaders attended.

After Hemant Soren took oath as the 14th CM of Jharkhand, his sister and JMM leader Anjani Soren said that the entire Jharkhand is happy today. We already had the expectation that we would win with an absolute majority. There was a lot of enthusiasm among the people regarding the swearing in ceremony. JMM supporters reached the venue with party flags in their hands. Meanwhile, cultural programs were also organized to entertain the people, in which local artists presented songs and dances.
