Online process to change mobile number in Aadhaar
- Step 1: UIDAI portal Go to and reach the Self-Service Update Portal (SSUP).
- Step 2: Enter the registered phone number you want to update.
- Step 3: Verify using OTP: Click on ‘Send OTP’, add OTP and proceed.
- Step 4: From the menu ‘online Aadhaar Services’ menu, choose the option you want to update (your mobile number in this case)
- Step 5: Provide the necessary information and submit your phone number
- Step 6: Capcha Verification – Put the shown safety code and proceed.
- Step 7: Enter OTP received on your new mobile number.
- Step 8: After verification is successful, click ‘Save and move forward’.
- Step 9: After following the stages mentioned above, schedule the appointment at the Aadhaar enrollment center and visit the Aadhaar Services Center to undergo biometric authentication. Provide any additional documents required to complete the process and pay the fixed fee.
