Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan is in a lot of headlines for his personal life. When Aamir divorced his second wife Kiran Rao, after which her name was Fatima Sana Sheikh. Fatima played Aamir’s daughter in the film ‘Dangal’.

After this, Fatima was seen in the film ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ with Sana Sheikh Aamir Khan. It is said that due to the affair, Aamir gave this film to Fatima. However, the film flopped badly at the box office.

At the same time, while talking with ‘The Lalantop’, Aamir revealed why Fatima was cast in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’. He told that it was rejected by many actresses before Fatima Sana Sheikh came on the board.

Aamir Khan said, while we were casting for this, another female actor said yes to this part. Jaffira’s role was offered by producer Aditya Chopra and director Vijay Krishna Acharya to Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor. However, the three refused it.

Aamir further said, in such a situation, she finalized Fatima, who gave the screen test for the role and was also fit in it. The director was suspicious of taking Fatima in this role as he played her father in ‘Dangal’ and here she had to play her lover.

Aamir Khan said that due to this, the makers had decided not to give a romantic angle between the two. The makers believed that Aamir and Fatima were seen in the role of father-daughter in ‘Dangal’. In such a situation, the audience will not like his romance in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’.

Regarding this decision of the makers, Aamir said, I do not believe in all this. I am actually a little his father and neither is I really his boyfriend. We are making films, brother. The audience is not so foolish that he would think that he is a real father. If we say so, then we are underestimating our audience.
