New Delhi: All ICC Board members have supported India’s decision not to tour Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 due to security reasons. The Indian government has strictly forbidden BCCI from touring Pakistan. After this, BCCI had officially informed ICC about this. After which Pakistan was asked to conduct the tournament on hybrid model but Pakistan strictly refused.

ICC board meeting postponed

On Friday, there was an important meeting of the ICC Board on the issue of hosting the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan, which was postponed shortly after to Saturday, November 30. No decision seemed to be taken in the meeting. But according to the report late on Friday night, all the member countries of the ICC Board agree with the idea of ​​conducting the tournament on the basis of India’s hybrid model.

Pakistan has no option?

According to the report, Pakistan has no other option but to conduct the tournament on the basis of hybrid model. If PCB does not approve of the hybrid model, then the ICC Board can take a tough decision on this. In such a situation, the ICC Board meeting to be held on Saturday has become very important.
