Chitrakoot has been the holy place of Lord Shri Ram. In such a situation, if you are planning to visit Chitrakoot during winter, then do not forget to visit Ramghat, Kamdagiri, Laxman Paharia, Gupt Godavari, Sati Anasuiya in Chitrakoot. Along with beauty, an amazing view will be seen at these places.

Sati Anusuiya- Sati Anusuiya is a famous religious place in itself. Sati Anusuiya was the wife of sage Atri Muni. It is believed that due to his spiritual power, Mandakini originated from Chitrakoot itself. That is why the place of Sati Anusuiya is considered special in Chitrakoot. Thousands of devotees come here every day.

Ram’s penance- This is the same city. Where Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram had spent time in two caves of the hill with his wife Sita and brother Lakshman. It is believed that the Godavari river flows secretly in this cave and merges outside the cave. People come here from far away places to visit this cave.

Ramghat- Ram Ghat in religious city Chitrakoot is the place where Lord Ram used to take bath in Ram Ghat during his exile period. His brother Bharat also took bath at this place. It is believed that Tulsi Das had darshan of Lord Ram in Ramghat of Chitrakoot.

Kamadgiri Temple- Kamadgiri temple of religious city Chitrakoot is about 7 kilometers away from the railway station. This is the same place. Where Lord Shri Ram used to live in Kamadgiri mountain during his exile period. Even today, his form of Kamadgiri Maharaj is present in the temple, who still fulfills the wishes of the devotees.

Laxman Paharia- A place in the religious city Chitrakoot is also known as Laxman Paharia. Let us tell you that during the exile period, Lord Shri Ram came to Chitrakoot. Then brother Lakshman used to protect them from Lakshman Pahari, which place is still present in Lakshman Pahari in Chitrakoot.
