Ingredients to make Pakora Kadhi

  • Gram flour-2 cups
  • Curd 150 grams
  • Asafoetida – 2 pinch
  • Cumin – half teaspoon
  • Ginger – 1 inch long piece (ground)
  • Garlic 4 cloves (two chopped and two crushed)
  • Onion 1 big size (slightly ground and slightly chopped)
  • Turmeric powder – half teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder – less than half teaspoon
  • Coriander powder – 2 teaspoons
  • Salt – as per taste

  • To make Kadhi Pakoda, first mix curd, gram flour and all the spices well.
  • Now add onion, garlic, ginger and salt to it.
  • Now add two big glasses of water in it and keep it to cook on low flame.
  • Now let it cook for about an hour. When it thickens a bit, wire it down.
  • After this, to make pakodas, mix gram flour in a bowl.
  • Now keep the pan on gas. And add oil to it and heat it.
  • Add batter to it and fry it like pakoda.
  • When all the pakodas are fried, put them in salted water and leave them for some time.
  • After some time, squeeze out the water and add them to the already prepared vegetable.
  • Now heat oil in a pan on flame.
  • When it becomes hot, add tempering of onion, garlic, cumin and asafoetida and add it to the prepared vegetable.
  • Your curry is ready. You can eat it with rice. Or you can enjoy it with roti also.
