When RCB was celebrating the title for the first time in IPL 2025, the stampede outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru turned the atmosphere into mourning. Now about a month later, the Central Administrative Tribunal has blamed RCB in the investigation issued by the Union Administrative Tribunal and brought RCB to the dock of troubles.

After winning the trophy in IPL 2025, RCB’s victory was overshadowed in Bengaluru. On June 4, 11 people died in a stampede outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium during the team’s Vijay rally, while 33 people were injured. Now the Central Administrative Tribunal has put the entire responsibility on RCB in the investigation issued by the Central Administrative Tribunal.

The Central Administrative Tribunal says that the RCB did not take any permission from the police before celebrating and suddenly shared its information on social media, causing thousands of people to gather. The police had only 12 hours of time, in which it was impossible to make security arrangements for such a large crowd.

The Union Administrative Tribunal has said in its statement that, “RCB neither took permission from the police nor informed in advance. A sudden announcement was made on social media, causing the crowd to throng. The police did not have the time of preparation. In such a short time, no one could be done like Aladdin’s lamp.”

Significantly, under the scheme of Vijay rally, the team had to take out the parade from Vidhan Sudha to Chinnaswamy Stadium, but the situation was not clear on the day throughout the day. Meanwhile, as soon as the RCB team reached Vidhan Sauha to meet Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, the news of a stampede was revealed outside the stadium.
