Ind vs Eng 2nd Test Day 1 Highlights: In the second Test of Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy being played between India and England Indian team Has scored 310 runs for 5 wickets by the end of the first day’s play. Captain Shubman Gill returned unbeaten after scoring 114 runs and Ravindra Jadeja 41 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored an innings of 87 runs but missed a century. Chris Woakes took the maximum two wickets for England, while Stokes, Cars and Shoaib Bashir had 1–1 success.

On Wednesday, July 2, on the first day of the second Test match being played at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham, the Indian team scored 310 runs for 5 wickets while batting brilliantly against England. Team India started to bat first after losing the toss and KL Rahul (2 runs) fell on the score of 15 runs.

After this, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Karun Nair, while handling the innings, shared an 80 -run partnership for the second wicket. Nair was dismissed by 31 runs, while Jaiswal scored a brilliant innings of 87 runs but missed a century. He was caught out by Ben Stokes.

Till T-Breke, India scored 182/3 runs. But at the beginning of the final session, the team suffered two big shocks. Rishabh Pant (25 runs) and debutant Nitish Kumar Reddy were dismissed in consecutive overs. After the score 211/5, captain Shubman Gill and Ravindra Jadeja handled the innings again.

Both have added 99 unbeaten runs for the sixth wicket so far. Shubman Gill scored a brilliant century and is unbeaten on 114 runs till the end of the day’s play. At the same time, Jadeja is playing with him by scoring 41 runs.

For England, Chris Woakes took 2 wickets, while Bridan Cars, Shoaib Bashir and Ben Stokes got 1–1 success. The first day’s game was in India’s favor and now the team will look at the score of 400 on the second day.
