New Delhi: The Indian Army will be stronger than before. In the meeting held on July 3 under the chairmanship of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, the Defense Acquisition Council (DAC) has approved 10 military procurement proposals. It will cost about 1.05 lakh crore rupees to buy it. According to the information, the Ministry of Defense on Thursday approved the purchase of ten proposals worth Rs 1.05 lakh crore through indigenous sourcing.
Weapons and defense equipment will be purchased for all three armies
During its first meeting after the launch of Operation Sindoor, the Defense Acquisition Council under the chairmanship of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh approved the requirement of recovery vehicles, electronic warfare, integrated Common inventory management systems and surface -to -air missiles for the three armies. The ministry said in a statement that this purchase will provide high dynamics, effective air defense, better supply chain management and increase the operational preparations of the armed forces.

According to the Ministry of Defense (MOD), the approvals include Armard Recovery Vehicles, Electronic Warfare System, Integrated Common Inventory Management System for the three armies and the purchase of surface -to -air missiles. The purpose of these acquisitions is to increase dynamics, air defense capabilities and improve efficiency for the armed forces. DAC has also approved the purchase of moor mines, mine counter major vessels, super rapid gun mounts and submersible autonomous vessels for the Navy. These systems are expected to strengthen marine security by reducing the dangers for Navy and business ships.
