Pune: Budget carrier IndiGo has announced direct flights on the Pune-Bhopal route tp boost connectivity between the cities. The new direct flights will commence later this month. Pune is set to receive flights to 3 more destinations soon, according to IndiGo.
Air carrier IndiGo’s share price declined by 3.82 per cent to Rs 4,718 apiece on Thursday. The company’s share price rose to an intra-day high of Rs 4,865.55 apiece below losing value to close over 3 per cent lower.
Pune-Bhopal flight schedule
The Pune-Bhopal flights will begin on October 27, 2024. IndiGo flight 6E 258 will leave Pune airport at 1 pm and reahc Bhopal at 2:35 pm. On the return journey, flight 6E 257 will fly from Bhopal at 3:05 pm and touch down in Pune at 4:50 pm. IndiGo plans to introduce direct flights from Pune to Indore in Madhya Pradesh, Chennai in Tamil Nadu and Raipur in Chhattisgarh.
IndiGo share price history
IndiGo’s share prifce declined over 1.51 per cent in the past days. Over the past month, the company’s share price declined 1.98 per cent. However, IndiGo’s share price rose 35.15 per cent in the past 6 months and over 94 per cent in the past year.
IndiGo’s share price opened at Rs 4,800.19 apiece on Thursday, compared to a closing price of Rs 4,904.70 apiece on Tuesday. The company’s stock hit a high of Rs 4,865.55 apiece and a low of Rs 4,655.75 apiece on Thursday. IndiGo’s market cap stood at over Rs 1.82 lakh crore on Thursday, according to BSE data.
IndiGo Pune-Bengaluru flight delay
IndiGo issued a clarification on Thursday after a purported video depicting its pilot refusing to operate a Pune-Bengaluru flight surfaced on social media. The airline said flight 6E 361 was delayed on September 24, 2-24, owing to operational reasons. Customers were briefed on the matter, the airline said, adding that it apologised for the inconvenience caused. The flight was delayed by 5 hours, according to social media users who posted the video online.
