He has been replaced by the England batsman Harry Brook, which was bought by the franchise at a price of more than Rs 6 crore in the mega auction. However, before the start of the season, Brook withdrew the name from the tournament for personal reasons, which affected the team’s strategy. Due to this decision, the BCCI also imposed a two -year ban on Brook.

Delhi Capitals have signed Sedikullah Atal for Rs 1.25 crore. The 23 -year -old Afghan batsman made his T20 International debut in 2023 and has played 9 international T20 matches so far. However, his performance in these matches is fading – only 96 runs and the strike rate is 87. On the other hand, if we talk about his overall T20 career, then he has scored 1507 runs in 49 matches so far and his strike rate is 131, which presents the image of a stable batsman.
