IPS Manoj Sharma revealed about '12th failure'
What did IPS Manoj Sharma get from the success of '12th Fail'? On this Manoj says- If you ask me what I got personally, I got nothing. I do not take money from anyone nor do I expect monetary benefits from anyone. I am an honest person. Even today I am exactly the same as I was when it was decided to make a film based on my life. My wife is also exactly like me.

There is 'no gift policy' in Manoj's house
Manoj further said- I and my wife have kept a 'no gift policy' at home. At that time when my wife and I were preparing for the exams, we both had decided that we would not wear diamonds and jewellery. She doesn't wear diamonds even today, so we never spend on expensive jewellery. We both believe that 'no gift system' is right. We do not give gifts to each other on anniversaries and birthdays. If we have to give a gift, we write letters to each other. Therefore we do not need to go shopping.

Manoj is happy that the film got so much success
IPS Manoj Sharma also shared that the film has served as an inspiration for the youth and this is the biggest reward he was expecting. He said- The only benefit I have got is that the things that I wanted to tell the people of my country have come to the fore through films and books. In such a situation, if you want to take something from it, you can take it. I am happy that school students are sending me letters and saying that they want to be like me. Honestly, this is my reward.

A man told Manoj that his father used to tell him about his struggles. But he never understood what his father meant. But after watching the film, the man understood his father's struggles. He went and hugged his father. This is no less than a big success for me.

Manoj Sharma also thanked Vidhu Vinod Chopra
Thanking Vidhu Vinod Chopra for taking his story to the people, he said – I thank Vidhu Vinod Chopra through this film. People came to know about my story, otherwise there are many such stories, but no one cares. How do you get someone like him to tell this kind of story? This story is not special, it is about a child who you will find in every corner and streets of our country.

For me, the biggest reward is that people get inspired by the film.
In the future, if some people also feel that they should work hard and be honest. Or I should not take shortcuts and should not resort to dishonesty, then I don't think there can be a bigger reward for me than this.
