If you keep the temperature of AC at 19 then it is not good for the baby. By doing this the chances of the child falling ill increases. Keep the temperature of AC between 23 to 25. If you feel hot, reduce it slightly in between and then increase it again.

Never let your child sleep in a place where there is direct air flow from the AC. Make him sleep on one side of the bed. In the middle, the air of AC is felt more and let the cold air fall on his face, forehead and chest. Do keep this in mind. A child may get headache due to wind blowing on his head. Cover the child with a sheet and blanket and put him to sleep. Dress him fully. By not doing this, children may soon suffer from cold, cough and phlegm.

Child's skin is very delicate. By making him sleep in AC for 6 to 7 hours at night, his skin becomes dry. It would be better to apply oil or moisturizer or baby lotion. Mustard oil can be applied on chest, stomach and back. This will keep them warm. Keep cleaning the AC every week. In this, dust and dirt accumulate quickly and keep spreading in the room through air. This may cause allergy to the baby.
