Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the country after the ceasefire was announced. “The agreement will remain in force, but any violations will be met with a strong response,” he said. Netanyahu stressed that Israel is committed to achieving all its goals. , which includes the end of the threat from Gaza and the safe return of hostages.

He praised the bravery of the security forces and called it a major success in the war. However, even before the ceasefire, Israel continued to attack Lebanon vigorously. They carried out an airstrike on a building in Beirut, in which 29 people were killed.
