In fact, traveling restaurants and lounge businessmen running at the airports in India and Malaysia, travel food services on Wednesday, said that its IPO will open for subscription on 7 July and will be closed on 9 July. According to PTI news, this IPO will be Rs 2,000 crore. The company announced that anchor investors would be shared on July 4.

Kotak Mahindra Capital Company, HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India) Private Limited, ICICI Securities and Batali and Karani Securities India are the book-hanging lead manager of the issue. Equity shares are proposed to list the NSE and BSE.

Will the company get funds?

According to the news, the proposed IPO is completely offered by the Promoter Kapoor Family Trust for sale of shares worth Rs 2,000 crore (OFS). This offer includes reservation for membership by eligible employees. The Kapoor Family Trust works under the hospital’s hospitality, which oversees and invests several hospitality and food service businesses, including travel food services. Since the IPO is completely an Open for Sale (OFS), the company will not get any funds from the issue and will go to the shareholder selling income.

How much is there in portfolio

Let me tell you, Travel Food Services launched its first travel Quick-Service Restaurant or QSR outlet in 2009. It is promoted by SSP Group PLC (SSP) and its associates SSP Group Holdings Limited, SSP Financing Limited, SSP Asia Pacific Holdings Limited as well as Kapoor Family Trust, Varun Kapoor and Karan Kapoor. The portfolio of travel food services, headquartered in Mumbai, includes fast food, cafes, bakery, food courts and bars, mainly located at airports and some highway places. The company had a presence up to 14 airports in India till 30 June 2024, including major centers like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Chennai and three airports in Malaysia.

By June 2024, Travel Food Services has a strong portfolio of the partner brand, which includes both its in-house brand as well as both international and regional Indian brands. International brands include famous names such as KFC, Pizza Hut, Vagamama, Coffee Bean and T Leaf, Jamie Oliver Pizzeria, Brioche Dori, Sabway and Crispy Cream. Its network includes regional Indian brands popular chains such as third wave coffee, Hatti Kapi, Sangeeta, Bikanerwala, Wau Momo, The Irish House, Josh, Adyar Anand Bhavan and Bombay Brassry.
