Kia India recently confirmed the name of its upcoming compact SUV Sciros and it is now set to debut on December 19, 2024. The Kia Sciros will be positioned between the Sonet and Seltos in the brand’s domestic lineup, offering a new option in the highly competitive 5-seater compact SUV space.

The Kia Sciros is set to offer larger dimensions which enhance interior space and practicality. The teaser shows a bold front design, with vertically stacked LED projector headlamps and slim vertical LED DRLs. Its styling is inspired by models like EV9 and Soul.

The compact SUV has straight pillars and a flat roof and we expect it to be spacious. Its rear design is highlighted by L-shaped LED tail lamps that integrate with the pillars, adding to its boxy silhouette. The Kia Sciros will offer three engine options, which will include a 1.0 liter turbocharged three-cylinder petrol, 1.2 liter NA petrol and a 1.5 liter four-cylinder diesel engine.
