Islamabad: Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khwaja Asif has made a big statement. Asif has said that Kashmir, Indus Water Treaty and Terrorism are major issues that can be discussed in any future talks in future. Asif has made such a statement after the ceasefire between India and Pakistan. He also said that it is too early to say anything with certainty. Pakistan agrees on ceasefire with India but New Delhi has described it as a consent.
Asif mentioned these issues
Asif said that in a possible talks with India, major issues related to Indus Water Treaty, Terrorism and Kashmir could be discussed. A television channel quoted Asif as saying, “These are the three major issues that can be discussed.” He said, “It will be a welcome thing if the ceasefire paves the way for peace.” Asif has made such a statement when asked questions about the solution of pending issues with New Delhi.

Asif said, “With the passage of time, peace opportunities may arise.” He said that peaceful co-existence based on equality is the key to the progress of South Asia. In response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India launched Operation Sindoor. The tension between the two countries increased after India targeted terrorist bases in Pakistan. (Language)
