Karun-Yashasvi pair handled innings
Karun Nair and Yashasvi Jaiswal handled the innings after Rahul was dismissed early. Both shared a significant partnership of 80 runs for the second wicket, giving the team stability. Karun Nair was dismissed for 42 runs. By lunch, India had scored 95 runs at the loss of 2 wickets. Yashasvi Jaiswal has scored half -centuries and is present at the crease with captain Shubman Gill.
