Manisha Koirala came to know in 2012 that she had cancer. He was divorced before he came to know of cancer. The actress married Emperor Dahal on 19 June 2010, according to traditional Nepali customs, but both got divorced in 2012. After this, he came to know about his cancer. After which she moved to New York for treatment. In 2015, he informed about his cancer -free.
Friends and family left together in cancer
In an interview, Manisha Koirala had told that cancer taught her a lot. He told that during his war with cancer, he got to learn many important lessons about relationships. He said that during cancer, many of the friends she depended on, left her in the middle and it was only her family who was present with her to support her. She also stated that she was financially capable, yet, many of her family did not come to meet her during her cancer.

Talking about her cancer in a conversation with ANI, Manisha Koirala said- ‘In 2012, when I came to know that I have cancer, I did not know that it is the last stage ovarian cancer. I diagnosed cancer in Nepal. Then I was very scared. Obviously, everyone gets scared to hear the name of cancer. We were in the hospital when two-three top doctors came and they talked to me. I thought I was going to die. Life felt is about to end.
Manisha in New York to treat cancer
Manisha further said- ‘We knew two-three well-known people, celebrities, we knew that they had gone to New York and got their treatment. And my grandfather also went to Sloan Catering and got his treatment. Manisha Koirala also spoke about her surgery in New York, where she stayed for five-six months to treat her cancer.
Hiramandi made strong comeback
Manisha Koirala was in the news for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s debut web series ‘Hiramandi: The Diamond Bazar’, in which she was playing the role of Mallikazan. His performance in this series was well liked. In the series, she was also seen with her as Sharamin Sehgal, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Study Suman, Shekhar Suman and Aditi Rao Hydari and the series received mixed response from the audience.
