Lok Sabha Election: SP may change candidate from this seat

Lucknow: The two-phase voting for the Lok Sabha elections has ended, while the nomination for the fourth phase has also been completed, but the process of changing Samajwadi Party candidates is not stopping. Now once again the speculation about change of candidate has intensified.

This time the party is considering changing its candidate from Phulpur Lok Sabha seat. If sources are to be believed, SP may change its candidate from Phulpur seat. From Phulpur seat, ticket can be given to someone else in place of current candidate Amarnath Maurya. However, the decision on this is likely to be taken by Monday evening.

If sources are to be believed, Akhilesh Yadav has called a meeting in Lucknow on Monday regarding changing the tickets. Party leaders of Prayagraj have been asked to reach the office in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh at 11 am. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav will discuss with local leaders of Prayagraj regarding changing the ticket. Among the possible contenders, names of many other leaders including an MLA from Pratapgarh are in discussion.
