1 July Many automobile companies of the country released the June sales figures. While sales of TVS, Mahindra & Mahindra, Toyota Kirloskar, Bajaj Auto were recorded in June 2025, on the other hand, there was a major decline in sales of Tata Motors, Hyundai, Audi. The total sales of Mahindra & Mahindra in June increased by 14 percent to 78,969 units on an annual basis. The company said that in the passenger vehicle segment last month, the sales of its SUVs in the domestic market increased by 18 percent to 47,306 units, which was 40,022 in June 2024. In addition, there has been a 37 percent increase in sales of the company’s three-wheelers. In addition, tractor sales in the domestic market increased by 13 percent to 51,769 last month, compared to 45,888 in June 2024.
Sales of Toyota Kirloskar also increased
Toyota Kirloskar Motor’s sales in June increased by 5 percent to 28,869 units on an annual basis. The company sold 27,474 vehicles in June 2024. Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) said in a statement on Tuesday that domestic sales were 26,453 units last month.
Damage to Maruti Suzuki
The total sales of Maruti Suzuki India declined by 6 percent to 1,67,993 units on an annual basis in June. The country’s largest car manufacturer company sold a total of 1,79,228 vehicles in June last year. Maruti Suzuki India said in a statement on Tuesday that the total domestic passenger vehicles sent to the dealer were 13 percent to 1,18,906 units last month, compared to 1,37,160 units in the same month a year ago.
Hyundai sales also decline
Hyundai Motor India’s total sales in June declined by 6 percent to 60,924 units on an annual basis. The total sales of the company in June 2024 was 64,803 units. Hyundai Motor India Limited said in a statement on Tuesday, “Wholesale sales in the domestic market declined by 12 percent to 44,024 units in June, compared to 50,103 units in the same period a year ago.” Exports were 16,900 units last month as compared to 14,700 units in June 2024.
Tata Motors’ sales fall
The total domestic wholesale sales of the country’s leading vehicle company Tata Motors declined by 12 percent to 65,019 units. In June 2024, the company sold 74,147 vehicles. Tata Motors reported to the stock market that the sales of passenger vehicles including electric vehicles in the domestic market declined by 15 percent to 37,083 units in June, compared to 43,524 units in the same month a year ago. The sales of total commercial vehicles in the domestic market declined 12 percent to 27,936 units from 30,623 units in June last year.
Strong bounce in TVS sales
The total sales of TVS Motor Company in June increased by 20 percent to 4,02,001 units. The company sold 3,33,646 units in June 2024. The TVS Motor Company said in a statement that there was a 20 percent increase in sales of two -wheelers, which increased from 3,22,168 units in June 2024 to 3,85,698 units in June 2025. The domestic two -wheeler segment recorded a 10 percent increase and sales increased from 2,55,734 units in June last year to 2,81,012 units in June this year. In June, the sale of three -wheelers increased by 42 percent to 16,303 units on an annual basis.
Royal Enfield’s great increase in sales
Royal Enfield said on Tuesday that its total sales increased by 22 percent to 89,540 units in June. Royal Enfield said in a statement that domestic sales rose 16 percent to 76,957 units last month. Exports increased by 79 percent to 12,583 units.
Bajaj sales also increased
The total sales including Bajaj Auto exports increased by one percent to 3,60,806 units in June in June. Pune -based motor vehicle manufacturing company recorded a total of 3,58,477 vehicles in June 2024. The company said in a information to the stock market on Tuesday that the total domestic sales including commercial vehicles fell 13 percent to 1,88,460 units last month, as compared to 2,16,451 units in June 2024.
