Raipur. The cabinet meeting of Chhattisgarh government is going on in the ministry located at Mahanadi Bhawan. Mainly in this meeting, CM Vishnudev Sai and other ministers are discussing the problems being faced in paddy procurement.

According to the information, in the last few days all the ministers had reached paddy procurement centers in different areas. Have returned with feedback from people. The problems being faced in paddy procurement are being discussed. On the other hand, Congress has demanded the government to purchase paddy at the same rate after increasing the Centre’s support price. Let us tell you here that the Central Government has fixed the support price of paddy at Rs 3,217 per quintal.

Important decisions of Sai Cabinet

– Decision on more than 6 issues
– Decision to withdraw 54 political agitation cases.
– Gram must have been purchased through e-auction for the Public Distribution System (PDS). The ration which will be given to the people by the shops.
– Procurement agency was appointed for the maintenance of pulses and oilseeds crops.
– To overcome the problems faced in class 5th and 8th board examinations, it was decided to centralize them. The School Education Department was authorized for this.
Initiatives will be taken to improve the quality of education in the state.
– Decision taken to ensure availability of good quality seeds
– The state government will purchase seeds from the National Seed Agency. So that the quality of the crop remains intact.
– There are free held residential plots of Chhattisgarh Housing Board, a decision was taken to exempt them from fees and penalties.
– There was a provision for 25 percent increase in green energy duty after every five years, it has been abolished. This will boost the production of hydropower projects and green energy in the state.
– Under the hydro power project, the fee of Rs 1 lakh per megawatt for the developer for the first 5 years was abolished.
