Maoists blow up railway track in Jharkhand, train operations disrupted on Howrah-Mumbai route

An explosion has been reported on the railway track near Karo Bridge between Goilkera-Posaita railway stations in Chaibasa area of Jharkhand. According to the report, Maoists have blown up the railway track between Goilkera Posaita by blasting a bomb, due to which the operation of trains on the Howrah Mumbai railway line has been disrupted. And many trains have stopped. Railway officials have confirmed the incident.
It is being said that on 22nd December i.e. today, CPI (Maoist) has announced Bharat Bandh. Maoists have done this to show their influence. It is said that the Maoists committed this audacity around 10:00 pm on Thursday night. Shalimar-Kurla Express was stopped at Goilker station after receiving information about the explosion on the railway track.
Maoists have thrown up banners and posters at the spot. The driver and guard of a goods train passing on another line first detected the explosion on the track. After this he informed this to the nearby railway station. As soon as the information was received, the railway officials immediately stopped the operation of trains on the route. After this, senior railway officials were sent to inspect the spot.
