Maruti Baleno Set to Get New Top-Spec CNG Trim, Launch Date and Key Details Announced by Bharat Mobility
Maruti Suzuki is receiving a tremendous response in the Indian market, largely due to its affordable models like the Swift, Dzire, and Baleno. These cars have seen massive sales across India. To further boost Baleno’s sales, Maruti Suzuki is planning to introduce a new top-spec CNG variant. This upgraded model is expected to offer higher mileage and additional features compared to its current versions.
Expected Launch of Maruti Baleno CNG Trim
Maruti Suzuki has yet to confirm the launch date for the Baleno CNG top model in India. However, reports suggest that the company might introduce this new variant in the Indian market soon. Enthusiasts can look forward to an exciting and eco-friendly upgrade to the Baleno lineup.
Maruti Baleno CNG Trim: Engine Specifications
According to reports, the engine in the new top-spec CNG trim of the Baleno will likely be the same as the existing variant. However, the power output in this CNG trim will be lower than the normal petrol model.
The recently launched CNG variant features an 1197 cc engine with a manual transmission. This engine delivers a power output of 76.43 bhp and 98.5 Nm of torque.
Maruti Baleno CNG Trim: Design and Features
In terms of design, the new CNG trim will maintain the same style as the current model. It will feature the same front fascia, with LED headlights integrated with DRLs and round fog lamps. Additional features expected in this trim include cruise control, auto-folding ORVMs, auto-dimming IRVM, a 360-degree camera, and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Current Baleno CNG Model
The current CNG variant of the Baleno is available in two trims: Delta and Zeta. It is powered by a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine. This engine produces a maximum power of 88 bhp and a peak torque of 113 Nm. When switched to CNG, the power drops to 76 bhp, and the peak torque is 98 Nm.
