Investigation was conducted after receiving information about parcel being sent from Chhapra-Lucknow Junction.
It was revealed that 43 parcels were received on paper. At the same time, five parcels were delivered. In case of doubt, the medicine department was informed. After investigation, the team confirmed that there was oxytocin injection. Whose price is around two crores.

According to the inspector, about 10 lakh 87 thousand 200 ml of oxytocin has been recovered. Whose price is two crore rupees. At the same time, a case has been registered against Santosh and Ram Lotan in the GRP police station.
Oxytocin is a banned drug
Former treasurer of DPA and senior pharmacist Rajat Yadav told that this is a banned medicine. It is mostly used in animals. When an animal’s calf dies and stops giving milk, it is given an injection. This causes hormonal changes. Its effect is negative. It is also used in vegetables and fruits etc. That is why it has been banned.
Search continues for people associated with the gang
Inspector GRP Mukesh Singh said that there is a possibility of a big gang being involved. In view of this, a case has been registered against others also. The team will also investigate the addresses of the nominated people. However, no input has been received yet. There will be a big revelation in this matter soon.
