Moradabad, 26 November (HS). The boys and girls of Moradabad were welcomed and honored at Sonakpur Sports Stadium on Tuesday after returning after winning 2 silver and 3 bronze medals in the 68th State School Karate Competition held in Bulandshahr.

Dr. Ajay Vikram Pathak, Joint Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Olympic Association, said that the 68th State School Karate Competition 2024 was organized by the Education Department from November 19 to November 22 at Shivkumar Aggarwal Janata Inter College, Jahangirabad in Bulandshahr of the district. In which 8 girls and 4 boys from Moradabad had participated. In which girls got 2 silver and 2 bronze medals and 1 boy got bronze medal.

Today, on their return to Moradabad, apart from Dr. Ajay Vikram Pathak, District Karate Association Secretary Aashay Verma honored the children by giving them medals and certificates and along with the players, their team manager Jyoti Sharma also wished them for a bright future.

Joint Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Olympic Association, Dr. Ajay Vikram Pathak said that in the girls category below 14 years, Vedanshi Sharma won the silver medal in the less than 34 kg weight category, Rozam Khan won the silver medal in the more than 50 kg weight category, Divya 38 Bronze medal in the less than 1 kg category, Talha Parveen in the girls category under 19 years. Bronze medal in the less than 40 kg category, Vaibhav in the boys category under 19 years. Made Moradabad division proud by getting bronze medal in less than 50 kg category.
