C-Class will increase by Rs 90,000

After the price hike in June and September, the price of Mercedes’s C-Class model will increase by Rs 90,000 while the price of Mercedes-Meback S680 model will increase by Rs 12.2 lakh. Mercedes has planned to increase the prices of this model by about one or two percent and 1.5 percent from 1 September this year. Santosh Iyer, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Mercedes-Benz India, said that the price growth in two phases will be done to reduce the financial impact on buyers. There is a plan to increase the price of about three percent in two phases. He said that the price of rupee in the market has come down in the last four months. The Indian rupee exchange rate has fallen by 10 percent compared to the Euro, which has led to considerable pressure on our commercial operations.

Audi will also increase the price of its vehicles

He said that heavy fluctuations in the euro-rupa rate are having a serious impact on the cost of imports for both the Palparj and the prepared car. Audi India has already announced an increase in prices by up to two percent from May 15 to balance the impact of exchange rate and manufacturing costs. BMW has also increased the prices of BMW and Mini series models by up to three percent from April 1 this year. It also increased similar prices in January this year.
