New Delhi, 27 November (HS). Mixed signals are being received from the global market today. US markets closed after trading strongly through the previous session. Dow Johns Futures also seems to be trading with a slight increase today. Unlike the US market, there was selling pressure in the European market during the last session. There seems to be general pressure in Asian markets today.

There was continuous enthusiasm in the US market during the last session, due to which the Wall Street indices were successful in closing strongly. The S&P 500 index closed at 6,021.15 points with a gain of 0.56 percent. Similarly, Nasdaq ended the last session’s trading at the level of 19,179.74 points with a rise of 124.90 points or 0.66 percent. Dow Johns Futures is currently trading at the level of 44,879.32 points with a slight gain of 0.05 percent.

Unlike the US market, there was continuous selling in the European market during the last session.

The FTSE index closed at 8,258.61 points with a weakness of 0.40 percent. Similarly, the CAC index ended the last session’s trading at the level of 7,194.51 points with a decline of 0.88 percent. Apart from this, DAX index fell by 109.22 points or 0.57 percent and closed at the level of 19,295.98 points.

There seems to be general selling pressure in the Asian market today. Out of 9 markets in Asia, the indices of 6 are trading in the red mark with a decline, while 2 indices remain in the green mark with an increase.

There is no change in the Jakarta Composite Index due to the Indonesia Stock Exchange being a holiday today. The Hang Seng Index is trading at the level of 19,239.85 points with a gain of 0.42 percent. Similarly, Shanghai Composite Index has reached the level of 3,276.58 points with a gain of 0.51 percent.

On the other hand, GIFT Nifty is trading at 24,197.50 points with a decline of 0.09 percent. Similarly, the Straits Times Index has fallen by 0.26 percent to the level of 3,702.76 points. Nikkei index fell by 315.09 points or 0.83 percent and reached the level of 38,127.88 points. Similarly, Taiwan Weighted Index is trading at the level of 22,489.24 points, slipping by 186.52 points or 0.82 percent. Apart from this, Kospi index is trading with a weakness of 0.35 percent at the level of 2,510.80 points and Set Composite Index is trading with a decline of 0.49 percent at the level of 1,431.16 points.
