Mohan Bhagwat expressed concern over population decline
Mumbai. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat expressed concern over the decline in population. Citing modern population science, he said that when the population (fertility rate) of a society goes below 2.1, then that society is gradually on the verge of extinction from the earth. Even if there is no crisis, that society gets destroyed.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said, population decline is a matter of concern. Modern population science says that when the population (fertility rate) of a society goes below 2.1, then that society disappears from the earth. Even if there is no crisis, that society gets destroyed. In this way many languages and societies were destroyed. Population should not go below 2.1.
The population policy of our country was decided in 1998 or 2002. It also says that the population of any society should not be less than 2.1. Population science says that we need to have more than two or three children. Numbers are important for the survival of society.
