Munjya teaser is out and it combines dred with curiosity. The makers of Stree, Bhediya are back with yet another horror-comedy starring India’s first CGI lead.
The Munjya, a myth with profound roots in Indian belief and culture, is the focus of Aditya Sarpotdar’s film, which stars Sharvari, Mona Singh, Abhay Verma, and Sathyaraj. On June 7, 2024, Munjya will premiere in theatres, and you better brace yourself to scream.
The teaser opens in a remote forest where a CGI-ed ghoul springs into action as he hears the song ‘Munni Badnaam’ from Dabangg (2010). The creature enters a city, trying to find the source of the song. He peeps into a living room, where some people are watching the music video on a TV screen. As he starts enjoying the song, the TV is switched off. Angered, he attacks the inhabitants of the living room. A text comes on screen, “Munnis Beware. He is coming.”
