Haryana News: In Hisar, Haryana, a girl who had a love marriage a year ago died under suspicious circumstances on the day of her marriage anniversary.
The husband has accused the girl’s family of murdering her and performing the last rites with the intention of dismembering the body.
After receiving the information, the police also reached the cremation ground. At present the police is not ready to tell much about this.
Mandeep, who lives in street number 4 on Rajgarh Road, told in his complaint to the police that a year ago he had a love marriage with Sheetal, a resident of the street.
People from the girl’s side were not happy with this marriage. He was constantly receiving threats to kill him.
On Sunday, wife Sheetal’s family called him home on some pretext.
On Monday he came to know that his wife had died. After his death, his family secretly cremated him in a cremation ground near Gangwa.
When he tried to talk to his family members, they did not give him any information. After this the complaint was given to the police.
A special team of police started the investigation under the leadership of Azad Nagar police station in-charge Ramesh.
In the evening, on the instructions of the girl’s side, the police reached the cremation ground near Gangwa. Samples of ashes and bones of the pyre were taken there.
Police station in-charge Ramesh Kumar said that nothing can be said about this right now.
Further action will be taken only after the investigation is completed. The police are also interrogating the people of the neighborhood in this matter.
